Available settings

When you use Version Management, you can edit various configuration settings, such as WAF custom rules and Cache settings.

Generally, you are allowed to edit all zone-level configurations except for the following:

• DNS
• Spectrum
• Traffic (Load Balancing, Waiting Rooms, Health Checks, and more)
• Zero Trust and Access policies
• SSL certificates (though you can test these with a separate staging certificates feature)

​​ Limitations

Version Management does not currently support the following products or features:

• Waiting Room
• China Network
• WAF Attack Score
• API Shield
• Workers Cache API

Additionally, you cannot currently manage versioning through the Cloudflare API Open API docs link or deploy Workers used by zones that have enabled versioning via Wrangler.
